Join the iniciativeIn December, 2015, France will host the Paris conference on climate, or COP21 – the 21st Convention of Parties to United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). During this conference, all 195 signatory countries under the UNFCCC will agree upon the international framework applicable after the end of the Kyoto Protocol in 2020 to fight climate change.

What are the underlying political issues,? What is at stake for our societies? On what conditions could these negotiations reach a positive outcome ? More generally, can we conceive models of development that do not lead to the deterioration of living conditions? How can we act practically to move forward the vision of a low carbon world ?

The Jean-Jaurès Foundation and the Foundation of European Progressive Studies (FEPS) engage actively in these debates so that the voice of the progressives is heard in issues that are so decisive for our collective future.
